A journey – one of its kind to Hyderabad where students from I-Dream college – MBA, Bangalore went on a complete package tour of practical knowledge exposure and leisure tour.
I-Dream MBA program affiliated to Bangalore University & Visvesvaraya Technological University approved & accredited by AICTE, UGC, MHRD, NAAC & NBA – New Delhi, Govt. of India. A separate board of studies constituting of industry veterans and academic stalwarts are formed for this purpose to ensure that the course structure is reviewed every semester keeping in mind the Corporate requisites.
Hyderabad Industrial visit tour began on 14th Nov, 2017 from Bangalore with eagerness among students to explore the unchartered areas of knowledge in prominent industries. Industrial titans like Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd and food and beverage leaders like PARLE were the destinations for Industrial visits, so no wonder students were excited about this most awaited tour.
Students arrived in Hyderabad on 15th Nov morning, the city with fragrance of local delicacies in its air and its beautiful history. After a refreshing breakfast, students went to visit PARLE Products. The company PARLE since 1929, have grown to become India’s leading manufacturer of biscuits and confectionery. As the makers of world’s largest selling biscuit, Parle-G and a host of other very popular brands, the Parle name symbolizes quality, nutrition and superior taste. Students got a chance to look into brand promotion, inventory management, manpower management and other aspects of Management. After that students went on a beautiful sightseeing like iconic Charminar, Salar Jung Museum and a tourist loved place like Lumbini Park.
The next day enthusiasm of students were even higher as students were about to go on an industrial visit to Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL). Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) owned and founded by the Government of India, is an engineering and manufacturing company based in New Delhi, India. Established in 1964, BHEL is India’s largest power generation equipment manufacturer. As of 2017, BHEL supplied equipment contributed to about 55% of the total installed power generation capacity of India. It was an enlightening experience for students to grasp the know-how of management and get an overview of critical aspects of Organizational Management. Later students went for more sightseeing in Hyderabad as the city of emperors comprises of rich heritage, beautiful destinations and immaculate state of the art architecture. Students visited majestic Golkonda Fort, divine Birla Mandir and beautiful NTR Garden as well.
After, students returned back to Bangalore with cherished memories and invaluable knowledge.
It was a wonderful experience both for students and Together Edu Tourism family. Students had an amazing exposure into the insights of industrial knowledge and got a walkthrough of the whole process. We feel proud as event organizers to help our younger generation to have a different outlook of knowledge out there and transform their prospective to better.
