Pearl Academy – Mumbai
Pearl Academy is the first fashion Academy in India to get the prestigious ISO 9001: 2008 Certification, which is a testimony to the fact that its quality standards are at par with the best in the world. Pearl Academy has been awarded the Best Design Institute in India for two consecutive years (2016-2017) by ASSOCHAM. Since its inception in 1993, the academy has completed more than two decades of empowering creating minds and catering to the needs of design, fashion, business and retail industry. It was an amazing experience for us with those group of students to organize a 5Day tour to Bangalore & Mysore.
The tour started on 2nd April, 2017 by visiting Lalbagh Botanical Gardens, HAL heritage center, Siva Temple, Iskcon Temple and completed the day’s tour by visiting Orion Mall.
On 3rd April, 2017 students went for industrial tour to V D Fashions limited is a leading manufacturer & supplier of Denim products setup in Bangalore, India . Later they went on to visit Innovative Film City, which is primarily a film and entertainment industry in India. It’s a place for people of all age group with amusement parks and fun adventure activities to enjoy. Later at night they travelled to Mysore.
On 4th April, 2017 they went for their second industrial visit tour to Karnataka Silk Industries corporation its one of the major mulberry silk producer in the country contributing to almost 70% country’s total mulberry silk. After industrial visit they went for Mysore sightseeing covering some of the most prominent places like maharaja Palace, Art Gallery, Mysore Zoo and many more. Later they also went to Brindavan Gardens where they enjoyed light and music show.
On the final day of their tour i.e. 5th April, 2017, students travelled back to Bangalore and visited Wonder Blues Fashions Ltd was established in 1992, promoted by Mr. Pratap Kumar. M & Mrs. Niruparani. M. The company commenced as a commercial Laundry for Specialized Garment Dyeing And Specialized Garment Washing for the needs of the Garment Exporters. Last year they had an annual turnover of 7 Million USD. Later they enjoyed some leisure at Bangalore and headed back to Mumbai.
Students had an amazing learning and leisure experience and got a chance to see the insights of a large scale design and production part of a textile industry. With positive feed backs and customer satisfaction we are even more motivated in organizing tours ahead.
